Tribe of Israel Cutouts

These 18 people are helpful when teaching a story — it helps us remember where the various people are located, and who is involved in which activities.

These are all cut out of card. The men are 11″ tall, women 10″, teenager 8.5″ (Joseph is a special doll so we can remove the robe and dip it in ‘blood’), boy 7.5″.

They are packing-taped to a pen (for support) and an upside-down cup (so they stand).

 

There are 18 -- note that Rachel died when Benjamin was born

 

Men (11): Jacob, Reuben, Simeon, Levi (these two could carry weapons, if any of them!), Judah (I made him look slightly royal, to hint at his ancestors — King David, and our Lord Jesus), Issachar, Dan, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, Naphtali

Women (5): Leah, Rachel, Zilpah, Bilhah (these two can look different — fashion — to increase the illustration that they are not Israelites), Dinah (younger than the others)

Teenager (1): Joseph

Child (1): Benjamin
